Eligibility Requirements
1.
Applicant must be a high school senior in good standing enrolled in, or graduate of a state high school.
2.
Applicant must be enrolling as a full-time student (12 hours minimum/semester) in an accredited college or university
for the upcoming fall semester.
3. Applicant must
have participated in high school golf and the Missouri Junior Golf Tour. Participation – not just playing
ability or performance – is the criterion.
Criteria for Awarding Scholarship
The Missouri Junior Golf Association will award the Golf
Scholarships based on the following criteria:
Participation in MJGA events
Participation
in Plantation Junior Golf Tour events
Academic record
Character
Leadership
Essay
Letters
of Recommendation
Financial Need
SAT or ACT Scores
These criteria
are not arranged in the order of importance.
